My Experience with Clicksor and AdBrite
I have given a try to Clicksor and AdBrite on some of my high traffic websites but didn’t find anyone of them of promising. Here is the detail of my experience,
Clicksor Review
I added one of my site to clicksor. After getting their approval, I installed their code on my site. I didn’t like their Interstitial Ads but still used it to see its potential. I used Clicksor for a month almost. They made just $50 but was payable as it was the lowest payment threshold they can pay. However on the start of next month, I got an email from Clicksor that they didn’t approve my site to be included in their program hence they are disabling it. When I logged into my account it was showing zero balance. I tried to contact them through email reply, support and even sending direct email to their admin but never received any response at all. I must declare it a fraud-rant company. Stay away.
AdBrite Review
I heard a lot about AdBrite but never tried it. So I decided to give it a try. I applied for an account and got it quickly. Then I installed the code on my site (one) with more than 10,000 impressions per day. However I notice zero activity on my site. Whenever I visited my site I just saw “Your Add Here” message from AdBrite and no other ads being displayed on my site. Hence there was zero revenue. On different forums, I got advise that I should keep it running for a week or two and then see how much revenue it will generate for me. I did it. But even after one month, the review was zero.
Just by chance, one day I got to do some work on my client’s remote dedicated server placed at UK. I was uploading and downloading some data there when I just browsed my this website and amazed to see bunch of advertisements being shown there. It was very surprising for me that they are showing ads on my site and giving me zero revenue. It is impossible that they can’t get a single click on a website with over 10,000 page impressions per day. This made me greatly disappointed by AdBrite as well.
I have removed their code and consider it another big fraud. Will never give it another try. I am sure both of these companies are just entertaining a small group of people. For new comers, they are not recommended at all unless you know someone personally inside the company.
This is not all. I have tried a few other options and they are quite successful so far. I shall post you details very soon to help you find some better google adsense alternative.
